••• Emily Catherine Pruden of Palenville, a student at Nazareth College in Rochester, was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the internatio­nal honor society for business, management and administra­tion, on April 9.

She was also inducted into the Alpha Alpha Nu, the college’s chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communicat­ion Associatio­n Honor Society, on April 11. In addition, she was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

A senior in the fall, she is majoring in business and communicat­ions.

She is the daughter of Lori and Gary Pruden of Palenville.
