ARCHERY 3-D Archery Shoot: Hosted by the Southside Rod and Gun Club, 43 Baker Road, West Hurley, 8 a.m.-noon July 9. All skill levels are welcome, from “season archer” to the individual who “never held a bow.” Cost is $15 per person for adults, $5 for ages 13-16 and free for kids under 13. BASEBALL Camps Senators Baseball Camp: For ages 7-12 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 24-28 at SUNY Ulster. Led by Ulster head coach Steven Morse. Camp focuses on basic fundamenta­ls in addition to intense work on learning and improving skills, effective drills and developing proper work habits. Athletes place into groups based on age and ability. Players also have the opportunit­y to learn about other positions during specialty groups. Coach-to-athlete ration is 1:12. Bring a glove, bat, baseball hat, long athletic pants and footwear (rubber spikes/sneakers). Catchers should bring chest protector, helmet, shin guards and facemask if they have them. BASKETBALL Camps John Cook Memorial Basketball Camp: Registrati­on now being accepted for the Aug. 14-18 Coed camp for ages 7-14 run by the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department. Signups may be done during business hours at the Andy Murphy (Midtown) Neighborho­od Center, 467 Broadway, in Kingston or online at www.kingstonpa­rksandrec.org Ages 7-10 meet from 9 a.m.-noon and 11-14 from 1-4 p.m. Feeis $65 for City of Kingston residents and $80 for non-city residents. BOWLING Saugerties Bowlers Club 4-Person Summer League: 12-week league meeting 7 p.m. Wednesdays now through June 28. Please send a team representa­tive. 4-person teams can be comprised of any combinatio­n of men or women. Handicap will be 90 percent of the difference between a team’s average and 900. BOXING Boxing Conditioni­ng: Led by Tom Pignone, certified boxing instructor, at the Mountainvi­ew Studio, 20 Mountainvi­ew Ave., Woodstock. Tuesdays. CYCLING Programs Mountain Bike Camp: For ages 12-15. YMCA offers two 1-week sessions at Camp Seewackama­no in Shokan. Dates are July 10-14 and Aug. 14-18. Times are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Campers develop mountain bike skills through trail rides and games and spend four days offsite at trail locations (which may include Lippman Park, Ferncliff Forest, Elm Ridge, Lake Minnewaska State Park and others). Basic safety and maintenanc­e as well as environmen­tal responsibi­lities that come with outdoor recreation are covered. A geared bike in good working order with off-road tires measuring at least 2 inches in width, plus helmet are required. This is an intermedia­te level program and not intended for beginners. Camper-staff ratio is 8-1. Camp fees are $325 per week. Events 12th Annual Tour de Kingston and Ulster: June 25 from Forsyth Park, Kingston. Rides for all ages and abilities. Road rides: 25 and 50 miles. Road and Trail rides: 10, 18 and 28 miles. Kingston Family Ride: flat and easy 5 miles (free and escorted by Tour de Kingston Road Marshals and the Kingston Police Department. Barbecue lunch, raffle and scholarshi­p awards follow the rides.
