The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Ulster County Court

• Aggravated family offense: Charles M. Burgher, 26, of Kingston, was sentenced March 24 by Ulster County Judge Donald A. Williams to three concurrent two- to four-year terms in state prison after being convicted of three felony counts of aggravated family offense. Burgher was arrested by Kingston police on Feb. 24, 2016, after they responded to multiple reports of a woman screaming. He was convicted by an Ulster County Court jury on Jan. 19. Because Burgher previously was convicted of misdemeano­r domestic violence against a different victim in 2015, the charges against him in the February 2016 case were elevated to felonies.

• DWI: Stephen Anderson, 39, of Poughkeeps­ie, was sentenced by Williams on March 17 to six months in the Ulster County Jail and five years probation, and was ordered to pay fines and fees for the felony of aggravated drunken driving with a child in the car, a violation of Leandra’s Law. Anderson was arrested by Lloyd police on Sept. 13, 2015, and was initially charged with aggravated drunken driving; drunken driving and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, both misdemeano­rs; and possession of marijuana, a violation. • DWI: Kenrick Jones, 36, of Walden, was sentenced by Williams on March 17 to one to three years in prison and was ordered to pay fines and fees after being convicted of felony drunken driving. Jones was arrested on March 19, 2016, by state police at Highland in Marlboroug­h and was originally charged with felony drunken driving, the misdemeano­rs of obstructin­g government­al administra­tion, resisting arrest and fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving, along with refusing to take a breath test, an infraction. • DWI: Charles Bridge, age unavailabl­e, of Kingston, was sentenced by Williams on March 10 to one to three years in prison, was ordered to install an ignition interlock device and to pay fines and fees, and had his license revoked for felony drunken driving. Bridge was arrested in Kingston on Marcy 11, 2016, by state police at Ulster and was charged with felony drunken driving and with driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, a misdemeano­r. An appeal was filed on Bridge’s behalf on April 4. • DWI: Michael Melber, 27, of Saugerties, was sentenced by visiting Judge Thomas A. Breslin to five years probation, had is licensed revoked and was ordered to install an ignition interlock device and pay fines and fees. Melber pleaded guilty to drunken driving on Jan. 24 after being indicted by an Ulster County grand jury in May 2016 on one felony count of drunken driving. He was arrested by Saugerties police on Nov. 27, 2015, and charged with the felonies of aggravated drunken driving and drunken driving with a child, a violation of Leandra’s Law, and with misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

• DWI: Venise J. Gosselin, 54, of Acworth, Ga., was sentenced by Williams on March 15 to 270 days in the Ulster County Jail after being convicted of felony drunken driving. Gosselin was arrested on Dec. 27, 2015, by Saugerties police in the parking lot of Hot Rocks restaurant and was initially charged with the misdemeano­rs of aggravated drunken driving, driving with a suspended registrati­on and driving without insurance, along with the violation of refusing to submit to a breath screening test and numerous traffic violations.

• DWAI-drugs: Marc Corrado, 41, of Beacon, was sentenced by Williams to 180 days in the Ulster County Jail followed by five years of probation for driving while ability-impaired by drugs, and was ordered to pay fines and fees. Corrado was arrested by state police at Albany on the New York State Thruway on April 5, 2016, and was initially charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony, and driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r.

• DWI: Anthony T. Fitzpatric­k, 25, of Kingston, was sentenced by Williams on March 17 to three years probation, had his license revoked and was ordered to pay fines and fees and install an ignition interlock device. Fitzpatric­k was arrested by town of Ulster police on Jan. 4, 2016, on felony charges of drunken driving, aggravated drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving.
