Athens
• DWI: Andrew C. Reinisch, 47, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday on Buttermilk Falls Road and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Reinisch was released with a ticket for Athens Town Court.
Hurley
• DWI: Bruce W. Elmendorf, 66, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 209 and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and the infractions of failing to obey a traffic device and failing to obey a police officer. Elmendorf was released with a ticket for Hurley Town Court.
New Paltz
• Drugs: Nicole Petrone, 33, of Walden, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday on the New York State Thruway and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. Petrone was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.

• Endangering/criminal
contempt: Jared P. Dutcher, 40, of Glasco, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday at 13 Liberty St. (back apartment) in the town and was charged with criminal contempt, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Dutcher was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail because he was in violation of parole, police said.
Town of Ulster
• DWI/DWAI-drugs: Stephen J. Bush, 57, of High Falls, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 209 and was charged with drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors, and was ticketed for a license plate violation, illegal parking and speeding. Bush was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
