Kingston Stockade FC poised to face Mariners

The Kingston Stockade FC looks to bounce back from last week’s loss as it takes to the road today. Stockade heads to Portland, Maine to play the Seacoast United Mariners in a 3 p.m. NPSL contest.

Kingston Post 150’s senior team lost to Saugerties and defeated Middletown in American Legion baseball action.

In a 14-8 win over Middletown, John Zinko drove in three runs with two singles and a double, Andrew Huffman had three hits and three RBI, Kyle Kolodziejs­ki had three hits and Aden Gattine collected two RBI in the loss for Kingston.

In a 7-6 loss to Saugerties, Zinko had three hits and two RBI. Jake Hikade had two hits and two RBI, while Izayah Wells added a hit and an RBI. Branch Cranfield started for Kingston, allowing one run over three innings. Losing pitcher Christian Daly allowed six runs (two earned) in relief.
