On the move
Wayne Winkler, of Port Ewen, N.Y., and president/ chief executive officer of Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, has been named the 2017 Outstanding Professional by the New York Credit Union Association).
In 2016, the credit union added nearly 13,000 new members through two mergers. The credit union has seen a 25 percent increase in online enrollment and opened a branch in Fishkill.
Winkler has worked in banking for 37 years industry and earned the Certified Chief Executive (designation in 1994 from Credit Union Executive Society. He joined Mid-Hudson Valley in 1990 and was appointed chief executive officer 2012.
