JUPITER, FLA. » Jim Reisigl, of Jupiter, Fla., died June 20, 2017.

Jim was born Feb. 11, 1943 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Robert Reisigl and Margaret McGrath Reisigl.

He moved with his family to Mount Marion, N.Y., attended St. Mary of The Snow School in Saugerties and graduated from Saugerties High School in 1961.

Jim joined the Navy right after high school in 1961 and was stationed at NAS Key West, Fla. in the helicopter squadron during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Jim started Design-X, an advertisin­g and marketing firm in Kingston, N.Y., and Raleigh N.C., eventually changing the name to Reisigl Associates. In 1992, he moved to Jupiter, Fla., and opened a new office, where he continued to work on many creative projects and build brands.

Jim was a car enthusiast who loved to drive and work on his hot rods, Corvettes and motorcycle­s. He was also an avid skier, and had his pilot’s license. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Dittmar Reisigl; sons John and James, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a daughter, Danielle of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two grandchild­ren, Brooke and Andrew from Saugerties, N.Y.; a sister, Nancy Reisigl Swart of Kingston; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. A brother, Robert Reisigl, predecease­d him in 2006.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kingston, N.Y., on Monday, July 10, 2017, at 10 a.m.
