Casey Chapman of Hurley graduated from Hunter College in New York, with a master of social work degree, with a specializa­tion in child welfare, youth and families.

She was a student in the college’s Silberman School of Social Work.

••• John Ludlam of Red Hook graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans on May 20, with a five-year master of architectu­re degree. A student in the university’s School of Architectu­re, he also received a bachelor of architectu­re degree.

••• Paul Scherry of Stone Ridge, graduated, summa cum laude, from Delaware State University in Dover on May 6, with a degree in aiation/profession­al pilot.

While at Delaware State, Scherry completed six Federal Aviation Administra­tion certificat­ions, qualifying him to both fly commercial­ly and instruct aviation. In addition, he received and completed a competitiv­e internship with Delta Airlines internatio­nal headquarte­rs in Atlanta, Ga.

As the captain of the Delaware State University 12 member flight team, Scherry recently led the team to a third-place regional win, thus earning an invitation to compete nationally in Columbus, Ohio.

Upon completion of his requisite flight hours, Scherry plans to accept a job offer with Endeavor, Delta’s regional airline.

He is the son of Stephen and Cindy Scherry of Stone Ridge.
