Vivian G. Moscowitz, 87, of New Paltz, died July 18, 2017, at Woodland Pond of New Paltz.

Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Jehiel and Bertha Kuslansky Greenwood.

Vivian lived in New Paltz since 2009, having previously lived in Woodstock for 56 years. She worked as a legal secretary in New York City, as well as in her husband’s law practice. Vivian was always dedicated to her community. She was involved with the League of Women Voters, AFS and PTA, earning her the Jenkins Award for her service to community youth. She continued her community service at Woodland Pond, where she chaired the Employee Appreciati­on Fund and served on the Foundation Committee.

Vivian is survived by her two daughters, Eve Pardo and her husband Michael of Reading, Pa., Debbie Diamant and her husband Steven of St. James, N.Y.; her twin brother, Eugene Greenwood of Hauppauge, N.Y.; four grandchild­ren, Sarah Pardo O’Donnell and her husband Niall of Baltimore, Md., Daniel Pardo and his wife, Christina of Brooklyn, Joshua Diamant and his wife, Alexandra of Berkeley, Calif., Jacqueline Diamant of St. James, N.Y.; three great-grandchild­ren, Aoife, Aryeh and Ronan. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Vivian was predecease­d by her husband, Alvin E. Moscowitz, and her siblings, Bernard Greenwood, Beatrice Coen and Irma Wolfe.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Congregati­on Emanuel, Kingston, with Rabbi Yael Romer officiatin­g.

Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
