City of Kingston

· Drugs: Willie W. Bryant, 38, of Kingston, was arrested by members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcemen­t Narcotics Team at 5p.m. Friday on felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree after police received a tip that a man was selling heroin and fentanyl on East Union Street. Authoritie­s said they investigat­ed and recovered 24bags of heroin and six bags of fentanyl. Police said Bryant, who formerly lived in Newburgh, also had active arrest warrants from the Marlboro Police Department and Hyde Park Town Police from unrelated investigat­ions. Authoritie­s said the investigat­ion remains open and he could face additional charges. Bryant was arraigned in Esopus Town Court and was sent to the Ulster County Jail on $100,000bail.

Cairo

· Drugs: Robert W. Cramer, 61, of Windham, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 23West at 2:25 a.m. Sunday on a misdemeano­r criminal possession of a controlled substance and the violations of unlawful marijuana possession and possession of controlled substance in a nonorigina­l container. Cramer was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.

Coxsackie

· Drugs: Warrem A. Lewter, 35, of Schenectad­y, was arrested by Thruway state Police at 4:23a.m. Saturday on the New York state Thruway at milepost 121.8north on a felony charge of criminal possession of marijuana over 16ounces, a felony parole violation and the misdemeano­r of aggravated unlicensed operation. Lewter was being held pending arraingmen­t.

Lloyd

· Drugs/DWI: Gregory J. Garcia, 60, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:40a.m. Sunday on state Route 299on a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance cocaine and the misdemeano­r of drunken driving. Garcia was being held pending arraignmen­t.

Olive

· DWI: Harrison K. Molmed, 21, of West Shokan, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:53a.m. Saturday on Piney Point Road on misdemeano­r charges of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08percent and drunken driving. Molmed was issued a traffic ticket for refusal to take a breath test. Molmed was released with a ticket for Olive Town Court.

Plattekill

· Theft/identity theft: Amy E. Colando, 43, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:15p.m. Saturday at the state police at Highland barracks 212state Route 299 on felony charges of grand larceny, identity theft obtaining goods and the misdemeano­r of falsifying business records making a false entry. Colando was held pending arraignmen­t.

Rhinebeck

· DWI: Amber L. Pease, 31, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck on U.S. Route 9Sunday at 2:05 a.m. on misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Peace was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Village Court.

Wawarsing

· Drugs: Davenesha I. Higgs, 21, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at 10:22a.m. Saturday on Institutio­n Road on a felony charge of introducin­g dangerous contraband into prison and the violation of violating state sanitary code. Higgs was released to a third party.
