The Key Bank branch on Wall Street in Uptown Kingston was robbed just before 3 p.m. Monday, city police said.

It was the fourth holdup at the bank in a span of just over eight years.

Police said the latest robbery at 267 Wall St. occurred at 2:43 p.m. Monday and that no one was injured.

Police did not say if a weapon was displayed of if the use of one was threatened. They also did not say how much money was taken.

Police had not provided a description of the suspect as of 7:30 p.m. Monday, but they released security camera photos that show what appears to be a white male wearing dark sunglasses, a dark baseball cap and a dark hoodie.

Police asked anyone with information that could aid investigators to call them at (845) 331-1671. All calls will be kept confidential.

The photos show what appears to be a white male wearing dark sunglasses, a dark baseball cap, a dark hoodie, brown pants, white gloves and two-tone sneakers.

Monday’s heist was at the fourth time the Key Bank branch on Wall Street was been robbed since March 2009.

On March 27, 2009, a man later identified as Robert Bickelman, 49, showed a handgun and collected money from several tellers before going out the back door toward Green and Main streets.

Bickelman was arrested 11 days later after he was spotted by state police idriving a cherry red Corvette with stolen license plates south on U.S. Route 209 in Spring Glen. Police said Bickelman paid $22,000 in cash for the car, which he bought from a used-car dealer in Middletown the day after the robbery.

Bickelman later pleaded guilty to felony robbery and was sentenced to 13 years in state prison and ordered to repay the $23,339 that he stole.

Four days after the Bickelman robbery, the same Key Bank branch was robbed by a man displaying a realistic-looking pellet gun. That man, Matthew Bonse, 28, was arrested the night of the robbery and was sentenced to six years in state prison after pleading guilty to felony robbery.

On Jan. 10, 2011, a bank robber and his getaway driver took off in a fourdoor white sedan following a holdup at the Key Bank branch that occurred about 10:30 a.m. It was not clear Monday whether that case ever was resolved, though the Freeman’s online files show no record of an arrest.
