The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Coxsackie
· Contraband in prison: Sondai K. Downing, 20, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:39 p.m. Sunday at 165 Plank Road in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of reckless endangerment and introduction of contraband in prison and with the violation of violating the sanitary code. Downing was released after posting bail.
· DWI: Ashley A. Brooks, 26, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:03 p.m. Sunday on Spencer Boulevard in the village and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Brooks was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Village Court.
Gardiner
· DWI: Robert J. Edge IV, 29, of Wallkill, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 3 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, along with vehicle and traffic violations. Edge was released with a ticket for Gardiner Town Court.
Greenville
· Criminal mischief: A 17-year-old female from Delmar was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:28 p.m. Sunday in Greenville and charged with the felony of criminal mischief and the violation of harassment with physical contact. Her status was unavailable. State police do not identify teens charged with felonies. ·Aggravated unlicensed driving: Kevin A. Murtha, 29, of Greenville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:50 a.m. Monday on state Route 81 and charged with the felony of aggravated unlicensed driving and with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, an infraction. Murtha was released after posting bail.
Lloyd
· DWI: Jennee M. Mensche, 46, of Esopus, was arrested by Lloyd police Friday and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance, and with the violation of possession of marijuana. Mensche was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
· Grand larceny: Ashley R. Morrow, 24, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday on an arrest warrant and charged with grand larceny, a felony. She was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
· Drugs: Nicholas W. Colella, 30, of Walden, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument and with possession of marijuana, a violation.
Town of Ulster
· Drugs: Lehna A. Cohen, 20, of Lafayette, Calif., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 209 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Cohen was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
