The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Ulster County Court

· Marijuana: Edward Genther, 45, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced on May 12 by Judge Donald A. Williams to one-and-onehalf years in prison and two years of post-release supervisio­n, and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and fees, for the felony of possession of marijuana (more than 10 pounds). Genther was arrested in the town of Ulster on Jan. 8, 2016. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 6, 2016.

· Grand larceny: Robert Lightfoot, 32, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced on May 9 by Acting Ulster County Judge Richard Mott to 90 days in the Ulster County Jail and ordered to pay fines and restitutio­n for the felony of grand larceny. Lightfoot was arrested on Dec. 20, 2015, for a crime that was committed on Dec. 2, 2015. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· Drugs: Robert Durrell, 24, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on May 25, to one year in state prison followed by two years of post-release supervisio­n and ordered to pay fees for the felony of possession of a controlled substance. Durrell was arrested on Dec. 14, 2015, in Lloyd and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. He pleaded guilty on March 16. An appeal was filed on Durrell’s behalf on June 15.

· Drugs: Adrian Howell, 40, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced on May 25 by Williams to three to six years in prison for the felony of promotion of prison contraband. The sentence is to run consecutiv­e to a five to 10 year sentence he has been serving at the Orleans Correction­al Facility since Jan. 15, 2016. Howell pleaded guilty to promotion of prison contraband on Feb. 23. An appeal was filed on his behalf on June 15.

· Burglary: Dayshaw Allen, 22, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on May 10 to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervisio­n for the felony of burglary. Allen was arrested in Kingston on July 21, 2016, and was initially charged with the felonies of burglary (two counts) and robbery (two counts). He pleaded guilty to burglary on Feb. 17. An appeal was filed on his behalf on May 11.

· Attempted burglary:

Jason R. Scofield, 33, of Shokan, was sentenced by Williams on May 5 to a sentence of three-and-onehalf years in prison followed by three years of postreleas­e supervisio­n and ordered to pay reparation­s for the felony of attempted burglary. Scofield was arrested on April 20, 2016, for stealing a rifle from a home earlier that year. He pleaded guilty on March 2 to attempted burglary. Scofield was initially was charged with the felonies of burglary and grand larceny after the break-in. Sometime between January and March of 2016, Scofield, an admitted heroin addict, unlawfully entered the home of a relative in Shandaken

and stole a rifle that later was recovered at an area antique store. After his arrest, Shandaken police said Scofield had broken into a home on state Route 42 and stole property, including a firearm. They said the arrest followed a burglary complaint received in March.

· Grand larceny: Paula Donaldson, 44, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on May 25 to 120 days in the Ulster County Jail to be served on weekends and to five years of probation for the felony of grand larceny. Donaldson was arrested on in New Paltz on April 14, 2016, following a March 2, 2015, incident. She was indicted by an Ulster County grand jury for the felony of grand larceny on Sept. 27, 2016 and pleaded guilty to grand larceny on March 20.

· DWI: Trevor Delcotto, 23, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on May 12 to five years probation and ordered to serve 37 weekends at the Ulster County Jail for felony drunken driving. He also had his license suspended and was ordered to instale an ignition interlock device and to pay fines and fees. Delcotto was arrested on May 13, 2016, in the town of New Paltz and was initially charged with two felony counts of drunken driving. He pleaded guilty on March 8 to one felony count of drunken driving.

· Conspiracy: Natalie Ozuna, 19, of New Haven, Conn., was sentenced by Williams on May 23, to 120 days in the Ulster County Jail and ordered to pay fines and fees for the felony of conspiracy. Ozuna was arrested by state police at Ulster in Wawarsing on July 31, 2016, and charged with trying to smuggle Subokone to prisoners at the Ulster Correction­al Facility by hiding them in her underwear. Suboxone is a drug often prescribed to opiate addicts to help them overcome cravings for narcotics by blocking the effect of opioids, but it, too, is highly addictive, according to www.drugs.com. Ozuna, who was arrested with alleged co-conspirato­r Jennifer Rodriguez, of Manhattan, pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy on March 8, 2017.

· DWI: Antwon Wise Brown, 31, of Poughkeeps­ie, was sentenced by Williams on May 10, to one year in the Ulster County Jail and ordered to pay fines and fees for the felony of aggravated unauthoriz­ed driving. Wise-Brown was arrested by state police at Ulster on U.S. Route 9W in Esopus on June 18, 2016. He pleaded guilty on March 7 to the felony of aggravated unauthoriz­ed driving.

· Drugs: Darryl Charles, 49, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on May 9 to five years in prison and five years of post-release supervisio­n for the felony of possession of a controlled substance. Charles was arrested on Sept. 6, 2016, in Marlboroug­h and was initially charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and with two counts of tampering with physical evidence. On March 3, he pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
