City of Kingston

· Drugs: An 18-year-old Kingston male was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on Tompkins Street and charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance and the violation of possession of marijuana. The youth was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.

Cairo

·DWI: Debra A. Masters, 52, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday in Cairo and charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving. Masters’ dispositio­n was unavailabl­e.

Coxsackie

· Unlawfully dealing with a child: Mary B. Bishop, 57, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:42 p.m. Monday on Medway Earlton Road and charged with the misdemeano­rs of prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage and unlawfully dealing with a child. Bishop was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

New Paltz

·DWI: David Van Orden, 28, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:12 a.m. Thursday on Main Street in the town and charged with the felonies of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, drunken driving and facilitati­ng aggravated unlicensed driving. Van Orden was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.

Rhinebeck

· Possession of a forged instrument: Ali A. Rashid, 22, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at state police barracks, 5696 U.S. Route 9, and charged with the felony of possession of a forged instrument. Rashid was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Village Court.

Saugerties

· Resisting arrest/attempted assault: Christian M. Gallagher, 24, of state Route 212, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday and was charged with the misdemeano­rs of resisting arrest and attempted assault. The arrest followed a reported domestic dispute. When officers attempted to arrest Gallagher for attempted assault, she ran away from the officer and was chased into the parking lot of the Speedway gas station where she was taken into custody. Gallagher was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Town of Ulster

· Drugs: Ryan P. Callahan, 31, of Mount Tremper, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday and charged with three misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance and with one misdemeano­r count of aggravated unlicensed driving. Callahan was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

· DWAI-drugs: Anthony M. Capson, 49, of Kerhonkson, was arrested to state police at Wawarsing at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Capson was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
