The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Catskill
· DWAI-drugs/obstruction of governmental
administration: Lance G. Molter, 31, of Durham, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:02 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Cairo Junction and Charles roads in the town and charged with the felonies of aggravated unlicensed driving — alcohol and driving while ability impaired by drugs, and with the misdemeanors of obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle. Molter was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
· Obstructing governmental administration:
Gina DiMartino, 51, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 11:43 p.m. July 25 at 65 North St. and charged with the misdemeanor of obstructing governmental administration. DiMartino was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
· Acting in a manner injurious to a child:
Johnathan M. Bipat, 20, of Richmond Hill, was arrested by Catskill police at 6:15 p.m. July 26 at Walmart, 30 Catskill Commons, and charged with the misdemeanors of acting in a manner injurious to a child, conspiracy and petit larceny. Bipat was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
· Acting in a manner
injurious to a child: Yoel N. Martinez, 20, of Elmont, was arrested by Catskill police at 6:15 p.m. July 26 at Walmart, 30 Catskill Commons, and charged with the misdemeanors of acting in a manner injurious to a child and conspiracy. Martinez was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
· Burglary: Nathanial C. Morris, 28, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 6:38 pm. Friday at 18 Dumond St. and charged with the felony of burglary and the misdemeanor of criminal mischief with intent to damage property. Morris was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
· Resisting arrest: A 17-year-old male, address unavailable, was arrested by Catskill police at 2:44 p.m. Saturday at 135 Broad St. and charged with the misdemeanor of resisting arrest and with disorderly conduct/obscene language or gestures, a violation. The teen was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Greenville
· Drugs: Meleya McKay, 19, of Chatham, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 81 and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. McCay was released with a ticket for Greenville Town Court.
Hyde Park
· Falsifying business
records: Kaila M. Royster, 28, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck on Tuesday and charged with the felonies of falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing. Royster allegedly stole more than $5,590 from the state Department of Labor between April and October 2014. She is accused of certifying weekly that she was unemployed when in fact she was gainfully employed. State police were assisted by the state Department of Labor. Royster was released with a ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.
Rosendale
· Drugs: Christian I. Karcher, 22, of Tillson, was arrested by Rosendale police at midnight Saturday and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (lysergic acid diethylamide, also known as LSD) and with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Karcher was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for an equipment violation and he and
the driver were both charged with the violation of possession of marijuana. Police did not provide the driver’s name. Karcher was released with a ticket for Rosendale Town Court.
Wawarsing
· Shoplifting: Donnel I. Butler, 65, of Kerhonkson,
was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1 p.m. Monday at the Walmart store, 7500 U.S. Route 209, and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Butler was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
