Cairo
· Drugs: Irena M. Ventuleth, 43, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday on Ross Ruland Road and charged with the misdemeanor of possession of a controlled substance. Ventuleth was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
· Burglary: Jennifer M. Hall, 33, of Freehold, was arrested by state police at Hunter at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday at the Greene County Office Building, 411 Main St., and charged with the felony of burglary. Then, at 6:10 p.m., state police arrested an 18-year-old female of Cairo at state police barracks in Catskill and charged her with the felony of burglary. Both were sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional information was unavailable. State police did not identify the teenager because of her age.
Coxsackie
· DWI: Miranda B. Krzeminski, 21, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday on Sutton Place and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a bloodalcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Krzeminski was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Hurley
· Forcible touching: Adam I. Ross, 29, of Hudson, Conn., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday in the town and charged with the misdemeanor of forcible touching. Ross was released with a ticket for Hurley Town Court. Additional information was unavailable.
Lloyd
· Firearm: A 16-year-old Rosendale teenager was arrested by Lloyd police at about 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Highland Landing Park after the park was closed and was charged with the felony of criminal possession of a weapon and the violations of trespassing and possession of marijuana. The teen was found to be in possession of a disguised .22 caliber pen gun. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Police did not identify the teenager because of his age.
Wawarsing
· Shoplifting: Bruce Strain, 25, of Hurleyville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Walmart store, 7500 U.S. Route 209, and charged with the misdemeanors of trespassing and petit larceny. Strain was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
