Franklin M. Brown, 85, of Napanoch
Franklin M. Brown of Napanoch, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was 85 years old.
Frank was born on Aug. 14, 1931, in Woodbourne, N.Y.; he was the son of Andrew and Lillian (Caston) Brown.
Mr. Brown was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served from 1950 – 1952. Following his honorable discharge, Frank married Rosemary (Hoff) Brown at the Dutch Reformed Church in Ellenville. He was a member of the Ellenville First Aid Squad for over 30 years. Frank retired from IBM, where he had worked for 30 years as a computer engineer.
Mr. Brown was predeceased by his wife Rosemary and his sister Dorothy Gardner.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Dr. Julia Brown of Boston; his brothers, Eugene Brown, Howard Brown, and Albert Brown; and his sister, Catholene Lake.
Visiting will be held on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
