Franklin M. Brown of Napanoch, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was 85 years old.

Frank was born on Aug. 14, 1931, in Woodbourne, N.Y.; he was the son of Andrew and Lillian (Caston) Brown.

Mr. Brown was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served from 1950 – 1952. Following his honorable discharge, Frank married Rosemary (Hoff) Brown at the Dutch Reformed Church in Ellenville. He was a member of the Ellenville First Aid Squad for over 30 years. Frank retired from IBM, where he had worked for 30 years as a computer engineer.

Mr. Brown was predecease­d by his wife Rosemary and his sister Dorothy Gardner.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Dr. Julia Brown of Boston; his brothers, Eugene Brown, Howard Brown, and Albert Brown; and his sister, Catholene Lake.

Visiting will be held on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A Celebratio­n of his life is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Fantinekil­l Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be made in Frank’s name to the Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad, 1 Webster St., Ellenville, N.Y., 12428.
