ARCHERY
3D Bow Shoot: Aug. 20 at the South Side Rod & Gun Club, 43 Baker Road, West Hurley. Several categories available: Top Gun, Open, Traditional, Women, Youth and Cub. 3D game animals set up in natural settings throughout the course. The Club’s kitchen will be open, offering hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks. A great family event for shooters of all skill levels and ages.
—— BASEBALL Bus Trips Miami Marlins at New York Mets: City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Departmentsponsored trip to an Aug. 18 night game (7:10 p.m.) at Citi Field. It is a “Free Shirt Friday” (Michael Conforto Home Run Tee). Bus leaves Cornell Street parking lot at 3 p.m. Charge, which includes Trailways bus transportation and a seat in Field Reserved Section 138 (in left center field) is $90 for City of Kingston residents and $95 for non-residents. Coed camp for ages 7-14 run by the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department. Signups may be done during business hours at the Andy Murphy (Midtown) Neighborhood Center, 467 Broadway, in Kingston or online at www.kingstonparksandrec.org Ages 7-10meet from 9 a.m.-noon and 11-14 from 1-4 p.m. Fee is $65 for City of Kingston residents and $80 for non-city residents. Senators Baseball
Camp: For ages 7-12 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21-25 at SUNY Ulster. Led by Ulster head coach Justin Maxwell. Typical day will include station work, games, competitions, lunch and a basketball documentary. Athletes will play for daily prizes. Awards are handed out for each age group at the end of the week. Coachto-athlete ration is 1:12. Bring basketball shoes, shorts, T-shirt and any other basketball equipment personally needed. Class Number CFK 135201. Cost: $210.
