BASKETBALL Camps John Cook Memorial Basketball Camp: Registration now being accepted for the Aug. 14-18 Coed camp for ages 7-14 run by the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department. Signups may be done during business hours at the Andy Murphy (Midtown) Neighborhood Center, 467 Broadway, in Kingston or online at www. kingstonparksandrec.org Ages 7-10 meet from 9 a.m.-noon and 11-14 from 1-4 p.m. Fee is $65 for City of Kingston residents and $80 for non-city residents. Senators Baseball Camp: For ages 7-12 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21-25 at SUNY Ulster. Led by Ulster head coach Justin Maxwell. Typical day will include station work, games, competitions, lunch and a basketball documentary. Athletes will play for daily prizes. Awards are handed out for each age group at the end of the week. Coach-to-athlete ration is 1:12. Bring basketball shoes, shorts, T-shirt and any other basketball equipment personally needed. Class Number CFK 1352-01. Cost: $210. Every camper who registers 2 weeks prior to start receives a T-Shirt. Teams are assembled by a draw of team captains. If interested in joining, call the Bowlers Club at (845) 246-4969 for eligibility requirements. Season begins Sept. 8 Bowlers Club Junior League: The Saugerties Bowlers Club has formed a USBC Junior League that will start Sept. 9 and meet 11 a.m. Saturdays. All ages are welcome and the cost is $6 per week. There will be Bumper Bowling for new and younger players to help them develop. Bring your own 3-person team or the Club will help you form a team.
