Woodstock dentist earns business accolade
Chamber of Commerce tabs award winners
KINGSTON, N.Y. » A Woodstock dentist has been named Ulster County’s Entrepreneur of the Year for 2017.
Michael Tischler, of Tischler Dental on state Route 375, will receive the honor as part of the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance’s 13th Annual Business Recognition Awards.
These awards recognize entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations that are leaders in the region, have achieved outstanding results, and shown dedication and commitment to furthering business and the quality of life in Ulster County, according to a press release.
The other 2017 award recipients are: Emerson Resort & Spa as Business of the Year; Pay It Forward Partners (Puro Clean, Green Janitor) as Small Business
of the Year; Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel & Conference Center as Tourism Business of the Year; Resource Center for Accessible Living (RCAL) for Commitment to the Community; and Naccarato Insurance for the Heritage Award.
Additionally, Joe Fay of the Boys & Girls Club of Kingston will receive the Len Cane Heart of Ulster County award.
“The Chamber would like to congratulate the recipients and offer special thanks to those who provided the nominations and the independent panel for the final selections,” Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce President Ward Todd said in a statement. “These best of Ulster County awards are peerdriven and an excellent way for the business community to recognize outstanding efforts.”
The awards will be presented Oct. 26 at Diamond Mills Hotel & Conference Center, 25 South Partition St., Saugerties. The cost to attend is $100 per person. For more information, visit www.ulsterchamber.org.
