Coxsackie

Criminal Contempt: Heather A. Myer, 35, of Valatie, and David G. Myer, 37, of Coxsackie, were arrested at about 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, according to state police at Coxsackie. Heather Myer was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r, police said. David Meyer was charged with falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeano­r, police said

Esopus

· Drugs: Jason W. Barrett, 30, of Hurley, and Ryan P. Callahan, 31, of Mount Tremper, were charged Thursday at about 1:40 a.m. with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Ulster. Callahan was additional­ly charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeano­r, police said. They were arrested on U.S. Route 9W in Esopus, police said.

Red Hook

· Drugs: Joseph R. Pasqualina, 22, of Red Hook, was charged Wednesday with criminal contempt, a felony, and criminal mischief, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Rhinebeck. Police went to a domestic dispute call on West Kerley Corners Road. The investigat­ion revealed that Pasqualina violated a court order of protection by engaging in a physical altercatio­n with a victim, police said. When the victim attempted to call 911 for police assistance, Pasqualina broke the phone, preventing a call for help, police said. He was arraigned in the Village of Red Hook Court and ordered held at Dutchess County Jail without bail. Pasqualina is due to reappear in the Town of Red Hook Court on Aug. 21.

Town of Ulster

· Drugs: Ernesto Boccio, 34, of New York City, was charged Thursday with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, according to state police at Ulster. The suspect was arrested on the New York state Thruway at about 2:45 a.m., police said.
