D.Y.S. outslugs Fromson in women's A contest

A nine-run fifth erased an 8-11 deficit and lifted D.Y.S. Sports Performance to an 18-16 victory over Fromson Law in a Kingston Recreation League women's softball A Division game.

A nine-run fifth erased an 8-11 deficit and lifted D.Y.S. Sports Performance to an 18-16 victory over Fromson Law in a Kingston Recreation League women’s softball A Division game.

Stacey Donald hit two homers and had four RBI, Gina Jackson hit a double and two singles and had two RBI and Sam Robbins hit a homer run and had two RBI to lead D.Y.S.

Andrea Clausi homered and doubled and Beth Bowens belted four singles and knocked in four runs to pace Fromson in the loss.

Afco rallied for four in the sixth to top of the sixth after squandering an early 12-0 lead to beat Golden Hill 19-17 in a wild Upper B Division contest.

AFCO put up a 12 spot in the first, but Golden Hill would chip away with six in the bottom frame, another four in the bottom of the second and two more in the third to pull within one.

AFCO added a two-run cushion to push it to 15-13, before Golden Hill put up a five spot to take a 17-15 lead.

But AFCO would rally for four in the next frame to take the win.

Kristin Stefanowicz homered, hit a double, and had six RBI, Lacey Spadafora doubled and had three RBI and Karle Stefanowics doubled and had four RBI
