Hunter
• Assault, obstruction of breathing: Jasmine M. Berry, 21, of Haines Falls was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at 53055 state Route 23A and charged by state police at Hunter with felony assault, and the misdemenaors of obstruction of breathing and possession of a weapon. She was arraigned in Hunter Town Court and sent to Greene County Jail on bail.
Pleasant Valley
• Theft: Jason M. Stroly, 22, of Pine Plains was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway by state police at Millbrook. Police said that during the traffic stop, authorities found Stroly in possession of stolen jewelry and marijuana. Police said a subsequent investigation allegedly revealed that Stroly had entered the Milan home of a family member and took $2,500 worth of jewelry. Police said he also allegedly took jewelry from another family member who lived in Pine Plains. He was arraigned in Pleasant Valley Court and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $30,000 bail.
Rhinebeck
•Assault, menacing, weapons: Eljay DantiMurray, 21, of Rhinebeck was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 by state police at Rhinebeck and charged with the assault, menacing, possession of a weapon and criminal mischief in connection with a domestic dispute in which Danti-Murray was accused of physically assaulting a woman, causing minor injuries, and threatening the woman with a kitchen knife. He was arraigned in Rhinebeck Town Court and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $2,500 bail.
