The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Catskill

• Drugs: Stephanie N. Tope, 32, of Glen Spey, and Edward S. Abraham, 32, of Sharon Springs, were arrested by state police at Catskill on state Route 32 at 11:27 p.m. Monday. Tope was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Abraham was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Both were released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

Durham

• DWI/obstruction: Stephen C. Moshier, 26, of Palatine Bridge, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:27 a.m. Saturday on state Route 145 and was charged with drunken driving and obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Moshier was released with a ticket for Durham Town Court.

Plattekill

• Sexual abuse: John A. Rivera, 19, of Plattekill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:50 p.m. Monday and was charged with sexual abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17, both misdemeanors. Rivera was released with a ticket for Plattekill Town Court. Further information was unavailable.

Saugerties

• DWI/DWAI-drugs: Angelina R. Lawless, 46, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:17 p.m. Monday on Churchland Road and was charged with drunken driving, driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors; possession of marijuana, a violation; and with moving from lane unsafely, an infraction. Lawless was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
