Touch A Truck Family Fall Festival on Oct. 6

WHAT: Touch A Truck Family Fall Festival WHEN: Oct. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. WHERE: Locations in Margaretvi­lle

DETAILS: The Business Associatio­n of Margaretvi­lle (BAM) will host a Touch A Truck Family Fall Festival. Children can see, hear, touch and climb around on vehicles of all shapes and sizes. There will be more than 30 vehicles on display. They will include fire trucks, a bucket truck, New York State Police cars, vehicles owned by the New York City Department of Environmen­tal Protection and the state Department of Environmen­tal Conservati­on, Wadler Bros. concrete trucks, a wrecker and rollback tow truck, an Ulster County Sheriff’s Department patrol car, tractors, farm equipment and more. The event is a fundraiser for the Business Associatio­n of Margaretvi­lle, and there’s a suggested donation of $5 per family. Other events will include face painting and pumpkin painting, chocolate and cupcake tastings at Catskill Candies and Confection­s, “Le Cadeaux Trunk Show” at Home Goods of Margaretvi­lle and more. Library offers game for tweens, teens

WHAT: Teen Tenzi Time WHEN: Oct. 6 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the East Room WHERE: East Room of Tivoli Free Library, 86 Broadway, Tivoli DETAILS: Tweens and teens! Come and play Tenzi, a fastpaced dice game with a hundred different ways to play. Then take a break and have some free pizza. No need to sign up. Just come play. Everyone gets 10 dice. Someone says, “Go,” then everyone rolls and rolls as fast as they can until someone gets all their dice on the same number. Sure, there are a few more rules, but you get the idea.
