COLUMBIA, MO. » Linca A. Scarlett Jr. passed away suddenly in Columbia, Mo., on Sept. 14, 2017.

Linca was born on Dec. 12, 1975, to Linca Sr. and Marlene Scarlett. A native of Kingston, N.Y., he graduated from Kingston High School. Linca enjoyed playing football and listening to music. His favorite teams were the L.A. Lakers and Dallas Cowboys. Linca was always a very kind-hearted, respectful gentleman and was well-liked by all who knew him. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed making people laugh.

Linca was employed by St. Lawrence Cement Plant for 12 years and later worked at the University of Missouri Hospital.

Linca is survived by his parents, Linca Sr. and Marlene Scarlett; his three children, Domanic (12), Linca III (9), Layla (8); wife, Amy; brother, David; sisters, Venolin, Aliesha, and Lisa; nieces, Danesja and Destiny; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebratio­n of Linca’s life will be held at Riverview Baptist Church, 240 Catherine St., Kingston, N.Y. 12401. Services will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (visiting hour) on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. The memorial service will follow from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
