Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Run, Oct. 8, 11 a.m., Ritz Theater, Newburgh. 34th annual 5-mile run from Broadway in Newburgh to Riverside Park in Beacon. Entry fee is $25 for pre-registered entrants (MHRRC members get a $5 discount) and $30 on race day. Race-day registration begins at 9 a.m. Parking is at Beacon Train Station and shuttles drive runners to start line in Newburgh.
