Catskill
• Drugs: Margaret N. Parker, 31, of Acra, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 1:36 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 23 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Parker was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Coxsackie
• Drugs: Robert C. Davenport, 36, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and the violation of possession of marijuana. Davenport was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Saugerties
• Possession of stolen
property: Adeleke O. Ajayi, 26, of North Highlands, Calif., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 32 in the town and charged with the felony of possession of stolen property. Ajayi was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
• Drugs: Rebeka Cavallaro, 26, of Saugerties, was arrested by members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team on Tuesday and charged with the felonies of sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Cavallaro’s arrest followed an investigation of heroin and opioid pharmaceutical sales in the village. Cavallaro was arrested on an indictment by an Ulster County grand jury. She was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Wiley T. Davis, 26, of Bearsville, was arrested by town of Ulster police at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after running his boat aground at Rider Park on Ulster Landing Road in the town. He was charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving after attempting to use the boat trailer to push the boat back into the water, according to a press release. Davis was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI: Alexander C. Frankel, 26, of Bearsville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday on Ulster Landing Road and charged with the misdemeanor of driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Frankel was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Drugs: Melvin N. Torres, 25, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 209 and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle. Torres was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
