Incumbent, newcomer vie for District 9 seat
Political newcomer Pamela Krimsky will take on incumbent Herbert Litts in a race for the Ulster County Legislature’s District 9 seat.
District 9 comprises portions of the towns of Lloyd and Plattekill.

Krimsky is a registered Democrat who also has the Working Families line on the ballot.
If elected, she said, she will work to bring wellpaying jobs to the area, protect human rights and the environment, and push for greater transparency in county government.
Krimsky graduated holds an associate’s degree from Queensborough Community College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Queens College.
She is a member of Citizen Action, Clearwater, the Lloyd Democratic Committee and Mid-Hudson Senior Citizens.
