Hydrants to be flushed in town of Red Hook

RED HOOK, N.Y. » Red Hook Water District No. 1 in the town has scheduled a partial hydrant flushing for Oct. 17.

Hydrant flushing on dead-end streets only will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Some temporary discoloration and turbidity may be seen in parts of the district during the day. If conditions last more than 24 hours, call the system operator VRI Environmental Services’ 24hour emergency number at (845) 677-3839.
