Information fair for veterans on Oct. 21

The Department of Veterans Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System will host an information fair Oct. 21 at its community-based outpatient clinic.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the clinic at 488 Freedom Plains Road. Veterans are asked to bring a copy of Defense Department Form 214 with them to expedite services.

Employees from VA Hudson Valley will offer services to register for VA health care, take pictures for the ID card for registered veterans, and provide blood pressure checks and flu shots for eligible veterans. Additionally, demonstrations will be given on the Clinical Video Telehealth program and information on Telehealth, TeleMOVE, the women veterans program and transition care will be available. The Dutchess County Veterans Service agency will also provide information on additional services available.
