New Paltz
· Drugs: Allen R. McGraw, 37, of Kingston, was charged Sunday with criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, felonies, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. At about 4:22 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street in New Paltz for vehicle and traffic violations. Further investigation revealed McGraw was in possession of cocaine, which he attempted to discard, deputies said. He was also found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated, deputies said. McGraw was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court and ordered held without bail at the Ulster County Jail, deputies said.
Lloyd
· Endangering: Larry J. Santosky Jr., 18, of Highland, was arrested Saturday and charged with petty larceny and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, according to the Town of Lloyd Police Department. He is accused of stealing approximately $40 in merchandise from a liquor store on U.S. Route 9W in Highland in the company of a 15-yearold runaway from Kingston, police said. Santosky was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and ordered held at Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $2,000 insurance bond, police said, adding he is due back in the Town of Lloyd Court on Tuesday, police said.
