Gloria Zelinsky, loving mother, grandmothe­r, and friend, has left this Earth. She has moved on to eternity’s life ever after. She is at peace now.

Gloria lived in Wawarsing, N.Y., she passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017. She was 86 years old. Gloria was born on June 2, 1931 in Shenandoah, Pa.; she was the daughter of Stanley and Elizabeth (Zost) Eikszta.

Gloria was an area resident for most of her life. On Nov. 28, 1957 she had married Norman M. Zelinsky in Ellenville and together they raised their family in Wawarsing. For many years, Gloria had worked at Richie’s True Value in Ellenville. She enjoyed bingo and loved to go shopping and gambling. Her husband, Norman, had died in 1993. Gloria was a sweet woman, always there with her unconditio­nal love. She truly is an angel of God. Surely God has welcomed her with open arms.

Gloria is survived by her longtime companion, Raymond Nii. She is also survived by her two sons, Norman Zelinsky Jr., and his wife Valerie of Washington­ville, and Gary Zelinsky and his wife Lori of Olivebridg­e; her daughter, Pamela (Buster) who will always be loved for the time she spent with Mom; three grandchild­ren, Jeremy, Brian (Jackie) and Stephanie (Jeremy); four great-grandchild­ren: Cody, Isabella, Crystian, and Charlotte; her brothers, Lee (Michelle), Stan (Rose); and her sister, Susan.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Shenandoah, Pa.
