-

Patricia Laird Williams, 45, of Vestal Hills Drive, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston.

Born Oct. 23, 1972, in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of Frances R. (Martin) Laird and the late Robert J. Laird, and Fran’s fiance, John Scott Pell.

If you knew Patty a short time, a long time, or a lifetime you know she was genuine: her beautiful smile, her love of family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and D.C., her zest for life. Patty was a warrior in her battle against cancer; she fought it hard with courage and dignity. So, don’t be sad Patty was called to receive her heavenly reward. She earned her wings. Remember her fondly, live life to the fullest, love, laugh and remember the good times. Be thankful for having known her, and if you suddenly have an urge for ice tea and raspberry vodka, mix two and have one for you and one for Patty.

Surviving are her husband, Peter V. Williams; her children, Adam M. Williams and Valerie F. Williams; brothers and sisters, Rita Laird, Jacqueline Brennan and her husband George, Robert Laird and his wife Cindy, and James Laird. Countless nieces and nephews also survive.

Cremation and memorial arrangements are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston, N.Y. (www.jvleahyfh. com) Memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7 p.m.
