Coxsackie

• Forged instrument: Naheem A. Niles, 24, of Brooklyn, and Dunstan R. Edwards, 26, of Jamaica, were arrested by state police at Albany at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway in the town. Each were charged with two felony counts of possession of a forged instrument and were in possession of multiple pre-paid gift cards without receipts. Niles was charged with the infraction of having no vehicle inspection certificat­e. Edwards was arrested on a warrant from Bethel, Conn. Niles was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail; Edwards was jailed without bail.

Esopus

• Assault/endangerin­g: Alexander Miller, 26, of Rosendale, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 4:45 p.m. Monday after deputies responded to a reported physical dispute in the town. Miller is accused of pushing the victim, causing injury, and attempting to prevent the victim from calling 911, all in the presence of a child, deputies said. Miller was charged with assault, criminal mischief and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, all misdemeano­rs. He was released with a ticket for Esopus town Court.

Gardiner

• Endangerin­g/criminal mischief: Juan M. Mendoza, 30, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with endangerin­g the welfare of a child, criminal mischief by preventing a phone call, and petit larceny, all misdemeano­rs, Mendoza was released with a ticket for Gardiner Town Court.

Hurley

• Shopliftin­g/stolen property: Robert Wagner, 56, and Jose E. Moran, 56, both of Kingston, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., respective­ly, Tuesday. Wagner was charged with possession of stolen property, a misdemeano­r; Moran was charged with petit larceny, also a misdemeano­r. They are accused of entering the Craftspeop­le craft store at 262 Spillway Road at 4 p.m. Tuesday and shopliftin­g a Woodstock Chimes table chime valued at $23, police said. Both men were released with tickets for Hurley Town Court.

Lloyd

• Criminal mischief: An 18-year-old Poughkeeps­ie woman was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday at the state police barracks at 212 state Route 299 and was charged with criminal mischief to property valued at more than $250, a felony. She was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

New Baltimore

• Marijuana: Antoine M. Lewis, 27, of Troy, was arrested by state police at Albany on the New York State Thruway at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeano­r, and the infraction­s of no inspection certificat­e and speeding. Lewis was released with a ticket for New Baltimore Town Court.

Red Hook

• Drugs: Jamie B. Egan, 29, of Clifton Park, was arrested by Red Hook police at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 9 in the town and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and with possession of a controlled substance outside of its original container, a violation. She was released with a ticket for Red Hook Town Court.

Rosendale

• Fleeing a police officer: A 16-year-old Accord boy was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11:14 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 32 in the town after failing to stop for deputies. He was charged with fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving, both misdemeano­rs, and with numerous traffic infraction­s. After deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled and attempted to turn onto Dewitt Lake Road, where he lost control of the vehicle and struck an earth embankment. The teen was taken by Mobile Life Support Services to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeeps­ie, where he was treated for serious but not life-threatenin­g injuries. The teen’s name was withheld by the Sheriff’s Office because of his possible eligibilit­y for youthful offender status, authoritie­s said. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

• Drugs: Sheri L. Maybaum, 46, of Highland, was arrested by Rosendale police at 7:46 p.m. Sunday after her vehicle struck a parked vehicle on James Street. Maybaum was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r, and with speeding and failure to maintain lane, infraction­s. She was released with a ticket for Rosendale Town Court.

Windham

• Weapon: Jared S. Lakes, 19, of Hensonvill­e, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 296 and was charged with possession of a weapon, a misdemeano­r. Lakes was released with a ticket for Windham Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• Contempt: Juan Reyes, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies on Saturday and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r. On Friday, deputies began investigat­ing an allegation that Reyes had violated an order of protection by contacting the protected party via text messages, phone calls and emails. An arrest warrant was obtained and Reyes was arrested on Saturday. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail and released the same day after posting $5,000 bond.
