Joseph J. Cecelia, 62, of Lindsley Avenue, Kingston, died at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.

Born in Kingston, June 5, 1955, he was a son of the late Anthony C. Sr. and Josephine Christofor­o Cecelia.

Joe was the former owner of Papa Cecelia’s Pizza in Kingston, and Cecelia’s Tiling and remodeling in Connecticu­t. He was previously employed in the constructi­on trades in Knoxville, Tenn.

He is survived by his children, Joseph J. Cecelia Jr. and his wife, Courtney, Amy Scott, Austin Cecelia and his wife, Vicki, and Tiffany Coddington; siblings, Mary Jo (Meme) Eigo, Lorraine Dempsey, Anthony C. “Duke” Cecelia Jr., and Charlie Cecelia and his wife, Linda; and grandchild­ren, Dominic Cecelia, Zoe, Nia Scott, Nathan, Mikinlee, Melony Cecelia, and Kristopher Jordal. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A brother, Michael Cecelia, predecease­d him.
