••• Shane Digan of Tivoli, a student at the State University of New York at Oneonta, was awarded the college’s Scholarship for Excellence in Water Resources, Geology and Earth Sciences.
The scholarship is given each year to a student within the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Digan, who is majoring in international studies, was honored at the department’s annual Majors’ Night in October.

The classic Shakespearan comedy is set in an enchanted forest landscape. The play tells of whimsical interactions among four young lovers, a group of amateur actors, woodland fairies, and a duke and duchess. The production runs through next weekend, with performances Nov. 16, 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at McKenna Theatre on the SUNY New Paltz campus.
