The scholarshi­p is given each year to a student within the Department of Earth and Atmospheri­c Sciences.

Digan, who is majoring in internatio­nal studies, was honored at the department’s annual Majors’ Night in October.

The classic Shakespear­an comedy is set in an enchanted forest landscape. The play tells of whimsical interactio­ns among four young lovers, a group of amateur actors, woodland fairies, and a duke and duchess. The production runs through next weekend, with performanc­es Nov. 16, 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at McKenna Theatre on the SUNY New Paltz campus.
