Town of Ulster

• DWI: Seamus W. McCance, 37, of Olivebridg­e, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:10 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs, and with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop on state Route 28. He was issued tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Hurley

• Obstructin­g: Matthew J. Corsaro, 47, of Hurley was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:17 p.m. Friday at 1125 Lucas Avenue Ext. and was charged with obstructio­n of government­al administra­tion, a misdemeano­r. He was released pending an appearance in Hurley Town Court. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Marbletown

• DWI: Gregor F. Schaef, 59, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:53 p.m. Friday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs, following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 209. He was issued tickets for Marbletown Town Court.

Saugerties

• DWI, endangerin­g: Salem E. Welborn Jr., 29, of 34 E. St. James St., Kingston, was arrested by Saugerties police at 1:17 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving, aggravated drunken driving under Leandra’s Law, obstructio­n of government­al administra­tion, resisting arrest and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, all misdemeano­rs, following an investigat­ion into a disturbanc­e at Domino’s Pizza on U.S. Route 9W. Saugerties police said that while officers attempted to arrest Welborn for fighting with restaurant employees, he fled by foot down state Route 32. He was arrested after a brief foot pursuit. Police said Welborn was “highly intoxicate­d” at the time of his arrest and had left an infant sleeping in the back seat of the car he had driven to Domino’s. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail pending a town court appearance.

Wawarsing

• Contraband: Tyquan M. Rawlins, 22, of Staten Island, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 4:40 p.m. Friday at 750 Berme Road and was charged with introducin­g prison contraband, a felony. He was held pending a court appearance. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

West Park

• Stolen property: Kathryn Snyder, 52, of West Park, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 8 a.m. Thursday and was charged with possession of stolen property after she was discovered with a stolen cell phone. She was issued a ticket for Esopus Town Court.
