Catskill

· DWI: Karen M. Haas, 51, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:18 p.m. Monday on state Route 23B and charged with the misdemeano­r of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Haas was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

· DWI: Rupert J. Williams, 58, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:18 a.m. Tuesday on Mansion Street in the village and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Williams was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Village Court.

· Introducti­on of contraband in prison: Laikeesha N. Nesmith, 36, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 1:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and charged with the misdemeano­r of introducin­g contraband in prison and the violation of possession

of marijuana. Nesmith was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· Introducti­on of contraband in prison: Sincere S. Kingsberry, 25, of Staten Island, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 1:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and charged with the misdemeano­r of introducin­g contraband in prison and the violation of possession of marijuana. Kingsberry was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Lloyd

· False written statement: Megan Hansut, 25, of Lloyd, was arrested by state police at Cortland on Nov. 15 and charged with the misdemeano­r of false written statement. Hansut allegedly provided state police with a detailed account of domestic violance and order of protection violations on the part of her relationsh­ip partner who was subsequent­ly arrested. An investigat­ion found evidence refuting Hansut’s version of events and allegation­s, police said. She was released with a ticket for Cortland Town Court.
