City of Kingston
• Drugs: Nicholas C. O’Rourke, 28, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:10 p.m. Friday on Cedar Street and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. O’Rourke was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• Drugs: Garet R. Hunt, 23, of Norton Hill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:50 p.m. Friday on state Route 23 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of more than 25 grams of marijuana, both misdemeanors; and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Hunt was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Coxsackie
• Marijuana: Christopher J. Valentine, 38, of Amsterdam, was arrested by state police at Albany at 11:22 a.m. Friday on the New York State Thruway in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with possession of more than one pound of marijuana, a felony; and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Valentine was sent to the Greene County Jail pending a court appearance. Furtherl information was unavailable.
New Baltimore
• DWI: Jared Wells, 38, of Ravena, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:25 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving (alcohol), a felony; drunken driving, a misdemeanor; and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Wells’ status was unavailable.
New Paltz
• Unlawfully dealing with
a child-alcohol: Alyssa Palazzo, 19, of Lindenhurst, was arrested by state police at Highland at 7:19 p.m. Friday at 58 Main St. in the village and was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child (alcohol), a misdemeanor. Palazzo was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.
Marbletown
• Obstruction: Christian B. McAuley, 39, of Hoboken, N.J., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1 a.m. Saturday and was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor; and with disorderly conduct, a violation. McAuley was released with a ticket for Marbletown Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
Town of Ulster
• Possession of stolen property: Elijah T. Defreese, 39, of Florida, and Danielle L. Strube, 25, of Stokholm, N.J., were arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:30 a.m. Friday on the New York State Thruway in the town of Ulster and were each charged with possession of stolen property, a felony. Both were released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
