Cairo

· Criminal contempt: Carrie A. Cotrone, 36, of Palenville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the police barracks, 78R McLaren Road Extension, and charged with the misdemeano­r of criminal contempt (disobeying a court order) and with the violation of harassment. Cotrone was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Catskill

· Weapon: Louis Wagner, 27, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police on Franklin Street at 3:25 p.m. Dec. 20 and charged with the misdemeano­r of possession of a weapon with intent to use. Wagner was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

· Menacing with a weapon: Denise Whalen, 26, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 334 Main St., Apt. A, at 8:25 p.m. Dec. 20 and charged with the misdemeano­r of menacing with a weapon and the violation of harassment. Whalen was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.

· DWI: Stephen D. Ether, 50, of Athens, was arrested by Catskill police at Catskill Commons at 10:30 p.m. Thursday and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Ether was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

· Shopliftin­g: Trisha Schnun, 39, of Athens, was arrested by Catskill police at the Walmart store, 30 Catskill Commons, at 12:;30 p.m. Sunday and charged with shopliftin­g. Schnun was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Gardiner

· Unlawful imprisonme­nt (hate crime): Ryan C. Mortensen, 34, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 6:43 p.m. Saturday at 1232 Albany Post Road, Apt. 1, and charged with the felonies of unlawful imprisonme­nt (hate crime) and criminal mischief (motor vehicle), and with the misdemeano­rs of menacing with a weapon and aggravated harassment. Mortensen was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Additional informatio­n was not immediatel­y available from state police.

Hunter

· DWAI-drugs: Todd Lester, 64, of Jewett, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:20 p.m. Monday at 5974 Main St. and charged with the misdemeano­r of driving while ability impaired by drugs. Lester was released with an appearance ticket for Hunter Town Court.

Lloyd

· Burglary/grand larceny: Christine L. Anthony, 26, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Monday and charged with the felonies of burglary, conspiracy and grand larceny and the misdemeano­r of possession of a hypodermic instrument. Anthony was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

· Endangerin­g: Harold B. Addison, 34, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday after a domestic dispute and was charged with the misdemeano­r of endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Addison was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

· Drugs: Joshua D. Allen, 30, of Albany, was arrested by Lloyd police after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for traffic violations on U.S. Route 9W in Highland on Dec. 20 and was charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. Allen was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

· Assault/drugs: David A. O’Neil, 63, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Monday after a domestic dispute and was charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance and assault. O’Neil was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

Town of Rochester

· Obstructio­n of breathing: Vukoje Colovic, 27, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the town and charged with the misdemeano­rs of obstructio­n of breathing and criminal mischief and the violation of harassment. Colovic was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Shawangunk

· DWI: Andrew M. Scott, 20, of Pine Bush, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies with assistance from Shawangunk police at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday on the Oregon Trail and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and traffic violations. Scott was northbound on the Oregon Trail when he failed to maintain his lane and struck a tree, causing his vehicle to roll over. There were no injuries reported. Scott was released with an appearance ticket for Shawangunk Town Court.

New Paltz

· DWI: Naequan S. Foxx, 22, of Beacon, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 4 a.m. Saturday on state Route 32 in the town and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and with traffic violations. Foxx was released with an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.

Red Hook

· DWI/drugs: Kenya S. Blue, 20, of Hyde Park, was arrested by Red Hook police at 1:40 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9 in the town and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving (two counts) and possession of a controlled substance. Blue was released with an appearance ticket for Red Hook Town Court.

· DWI: Daniel R. Welch, 20, of North Carolina, was arrested by Red Hook police at 11:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9 in the town and charged with two misdemeano­r counts of drunken driving. He was released with an appearance ticket for Red Hook Town Court.

Rosendale

· Endangerin­g: Joseph Crone, 37, of Newburgh, and Heather Robbins, 27, of Rosendale, were arrested by Rosendale police on Sunday following a report of a domestic incident on Sunday. Police determined that both parties struck each other while holding their 2-year-old child. They were both charged with the misdemeano­r of endangerin­g the welfare of a child and with harassment, a violation, and released with appearance tickets for Rosendale Town Court.

· Criminal contempt:

Roylyn Andrews, 35, of Rosendale, was arrested by Rosendale police on Sunday and charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r. After responding to a report of a suspicious subject in the vicinity of Fann’s Plaza, police found Andrews and determined he was in violation of an order of protection issued by Marbletown Town Court by seeking out the protected party. Andrews was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Town of Ulster

· DWI: Daniel J. Holstein, 32, of Saugerties, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 11:07 p.m. Saturday during a traffic stop on Flatbush Avenue in the town and was charged with the felonies of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, and with the infraction of failing to submit to a chemical test. Holstein was released from the Ulster County Jail on Sunday after posting $1,500 bail.
