Mary, a lifelong resident of Cementon, was a person of strong faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother. From a very early age, it was apparent that Mary always thought first of those around her. She cared for her family, taking on the household responsibili- ties, and was essential to t he care of her father until he passed away. Throughout her life, everyone who knew her was touched by this intrinsic care. She always ensured that hats were worn on heads, socks were warmly kept on feet, and that everyone had something to eat or drink. Countless lives were touched as those passing by on the New York State Thruway were served by Mary who worked at the Marriott Hot Shoppe for nearly 20 years. Mary loved spending time by the river, taking walks, a good polka, and celebrating life’s moments with family and friends who spanned all generations. Most of all, she loved simply sitting on her porch with company, where a glass of Asti was never far from reach.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 a.m. Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Corner of John and Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Centerville where at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Catskill.
