Community college registration is Jan. 16
STONE RIDGE, N.Y. » Final registration for the spring 2018 semester at SUNY Ulster, 491 Cottekill Road, will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Room 220 of Hasbrouck Hall on the community college’s Stone Ridge campus.
Representatives of a number of the college’s academic departments, admissions, financial aid, registrar, and student accounts will be available for advising and information during the registration period.
Spring 2018 classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 22.
Students just starting the financial aid process may put down a $50 deposit to hold their registration.
All other students should sign up for the college’s tuition payment plan or remit payment in full.

Boys and Girls Club plans awards dinner
The first Boys & Girls Club Shining Star Recognition Dinner will be held Friday, Jan. 26 (snow date Saturday, Jan. 27) at Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern.
The honoree for the Shining Star Award for Individual Service will be given to Joseph Fay, the longtime executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ulster County.
The Kiwanis Club of Saugerties will be honored with the Shining Star Community Service Award for its long-term commitment to the Saugerties community, as well as its dedication to the Boys & Girls Club.
