City of Kingston
• Aggravated unlicensed driving: Brandon J. Shaw, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:55 p.m. Friday on Albany Avenue and charged with the felony of aggravated unlicensed driving with alcohol, the infraction of driving while ability impaired by alcohol and other infractions. Shaw was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail pending a court appearance.
Coxsackie
• Drugs: George H. Winegard, 44, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at about 8 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (a narcotic) with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic), and criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts), all felonies. Winegard was sent to the Greene County Jail pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
• Drugs: A 15-year-old boy from Athens was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11 p.m. Friday on Four Mile Point Road in the town and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. The teen, who was not identified by police because of his age, was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Marlborough
• DWI: Jordan J. Shepherd, 24, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:21 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Shepherd was released with a ticket for Marlborough Town Court.
New Baltimore
• Tampering with physical evidence/drugs: Heather J. Strother, 27, of New Baltimore, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:50 p.m. Friday and was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony; and criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeanors. Strother was sent to the Greene County Jail pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
