City of Kingston
· DWAI-alcohol and drugs/ aggravated unlicensed
driving: Raymond M. Morris, 23, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11 p.m. Sunday on Fair Street and charged with the felony of driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, the misdemeanor of aggravated unlicensed driving and the infractions of no or improper front or rear bumper, unsafe turn and fail to stop at stop sign. Morris was released with an appearance ticket for the Kingston City Court.
Catskill
· Obstruction of breathing: Thomas J. VanDyke, 37, of South Cairo, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:35 a.m. Monday in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of obstruction of breathing by applying pressure, assault and menacing. VanDyke’s status was unavailable.
· Drugs: Justine M. Byrd, 32, and Brett Lauren-Kennedy, 39, both of East Berne, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 5 a.m. Sunday on state Route 23B in the town. Byrd was charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug) and possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug) with intent to sell, and with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia. Lauren-Kennedy was charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug) and possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug) with intent to sell, and with the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia. Both were sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional information was unavailable.
Hunter
· DWI: Robert J. Morton, 32, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:20 p.m. Sunday on state Route 23A and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and with the infractions of moving from lane unsafely, failing to use designated lane and crossing road hazard markings. Morton was released with an appearance ticket for Hunter Town Court.
Lloyd
· Bail jumping: Amyia C. Vasquez, 27, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies with assistance from Lloyd and city of Poughkeepsie police at about 12:30 a.m. Monday on an outstanding bench warrant and was additionally charged with the felony of bail jumping. The arrest was made after deputies were contacted by Lloyd police in regard to the warrant for Vasquez stemming from a 2016 charge of aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony. Vasquez was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
· DWI: Adeerly L. Zamundio, 29, of Walkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:31 a.m. Monday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and charged with the felonies of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Zamundio was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
