Dolores G. McLaren, 89, of Hurley, passed peacefully at home, Sunday morning, Jan. 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Nov. 17, 1928 in Kingston and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Guido Frangello .

She was predecease­d by her husband James J. McLaren, he passed on May 19, 1992.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School, after high school she started working at the A & P Tea Company, then went to Standard Furniture for many years, she then worked for Metropolit­an Life Insurance as a claims approver until her retirement.

She was a parishione­r of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, she loved spending time with her family, gardening, and reading

She is survived by her loving family, her children, Carol Ann Lang and her husband John, Rosanne McLaren, Kathleen Brooks and her husband Wayne, and James McLaren, Jr., and his wife Kathleen; grandchild­ren, Allison Abramson and her husband Michael, Matthew Lang, Christian Gallo, Christine Brooks, Joseph McLaren, Matthew McLaren; great grandchild­ren, Emma, Sophia, and Clara Abramson, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by seven brother and sisters.

Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. On Friday, the procession will form at the funeral home at 10 a.m. and proceed to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, where at 11 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Hurley Cemetery.
