City of Kingston
• Obstructing governmen
tal administration: Laura A. Duffy, 70, of Willow, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:52 p.m. Thursday at 503 Washington Ave. and was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Duffy was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Coxsackie
• Drugs: Joseph W. Tanner, 30, of Coxsackie, and Alexander N. Mancuso, 36, of Dunkirk, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 9W in the town. Tanner was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Mancuso was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Both were released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court. • DWI: John Gent, 40, of Leeds, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:35 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Cauterskill Road and state Route 23B in the town and was charged with felony drunken driving. Gent was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $500 bail pending a court appearance.
New Baltimore
• DWI: Tyler Deshaw, 24, of New Baltimore, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Deshaw was released with a ticket for New Baltimore Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Forged instrument: Robert V. Barros, 62, of Olivebridge, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:02 p.m. Thursday at state police barracks at 1791 U.S. Route 209 and was charged with one felony count of possession of a forged instrument. An investigation found that on Dec. 16, 2017, Barros allegedly made a purchase with a counterfeit $100 bill and, on Dec. 31, 2017, attempted to use another counterfeit bill that was refused by an unidentified store. Barros was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
