Grace Van Roy scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds Tuesday as Saugerties registered a big 62-59 MidHudson Athletic League girls basketball win over Marlboro.

Jaclyn Murphy (eight points, six assists) Anna Van Roy (seven points, six rebounds, four assists), Christie Collins (seven points, 10 rebounds) and Hilary Mulford (seven points) also had big games for the (12-4) Sawyers.

At New Paltz, Bri Rozzi scored a game-high 24 points, while Sam Garcia added 10 points, to lift the Huskies.

At Dover Plains, Haley Strang had 18 points, 13 rebounds and four steals to lead the Bombers.

Emily Torre had 11 points and six rebounds, while Lily Brenner added seven points and seven rebounds in the win. Jaylen Beliveau contribute­d seven points, with Jansen Campagione adding six points and nine rebounds for Pine Plains.

Lucy Rosser led the Dragons with 16 points, while Ariana Drake added 11 points in the loss.
