Albany
• DWI: Victor H. Schneider, 57, of Rosendale, was arrested by Thruway state police on the New York state Thruway at 11:29 p.m. on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Schneider was released to a third party.
Catskill
• Drugs: Alan Stark, 21, of Hollis, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on state Route 23 on the felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance hallucinogenic substance, the misdemeanor of criminal possession of a controlled substance and the violations of possession a of controlled substance in a non-original container and unlawful marijuana possession. Further information was unavailable.
• Drugs: Bryant Gongora, 21, of Elmont, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on state Route 23 on a misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance charge. Gongora was released on his own recognizance.
Coxsackie
• Possession of stolen property: Michael J. Kearns, 34, of Hudson Falls, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7:13 p.m. Saturday at 44 Hope Plaza on a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property vehicle except a motorcycle. He was also charged with the misdemeanor of criminal impersonation of another person and the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Kearns was held pending arraignment.
• Introducing contraband into prison: Misty A. Anderson, 24, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:45 p.m. on Plank Road on a misdemeanor charge of introducing contraband into prison and the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Anderson was released with an appearance ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
Gallatin
• Endangering: James D. Levanti, 38, of Elizaville, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 10:15 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child and the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Levanti was released on his own recognizance.
Marbletown
• DWI: Russell J. Berg, 60, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:14 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 209 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. He was also issued traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unsafe backing of a vehicle. Berg was released with an appearance ticket for Marbletown Town Court.
Rhinebeck
• DWI: Christian T. Ruger, 48, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 3067 state Route 9G at 8:51 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. Ruger was released with an appearance ticket for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Resisting arrest: Anisah N. Bailey, 19, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:15 p.m. Saturday on Washington Avenue on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Bailey was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI/Drugs: Philip G. Damberg, 62, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:35 p.m. Saturday on Ulster Avenue at Morton Boulevard on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08 percent and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was also issued traffic tickets for operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate and a license plate violation registered plate displayed. Danberg was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
