Athens
· Grand larceny/identity theft: Holly Clapper, 55, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11 a.m. Saturday at 32 Greensburgh Court and charged with the felonies of grand larceny and identity theft. Clapper was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional information was unavailable.
Cairo
· DWI: Meghan C. Valk, 32, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:42 p.m. Sunday on state Route 32 and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Valk was released with appearance tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Esopus
· Fugitive: Justin R. Sheppard, 37, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:44 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9W as a fugitive from justice without a warrant. Sheppard was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Additional information was unavailable.
Hyde Park
· DWI: Matthew J. Kinel, 27, of Staatsburg, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 9:31 p.m. Sunday on Albany Post Road and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a bloodalcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and with the infraction of speeding. Kinel was released with appearance tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.
Plattekill
· DWI/endangering: Trinity M. Chapman-Clark, 38, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:08 p.m. Sunday on state Route 32 and charged with the felony of aggravated drunken driving with a child, a violation of Leandra’s Law, and the misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child (two counts) and drunken driving. Chapman Clark was released with appearance tickets for Plattekill Town Court.
Town of Rochester
· DWAI-drugs: Benjamin M. Russ, 45, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at the intersection of Samsonville and Upper Cherrytown roads in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of falsely reporting an emergency and driving while ability impaired by drugs, and with the infractions of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failing to use designated lane. Russ was released with appearance tickets for Rochester Town Court.
Windham
· Obstruction of breathing: Aton-Re Abdulkhabir, 32, of Hensonville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:17 a.m. Monday in Windham and charged with misdemeanor of obstruction of breathing. Abdulkhabir was released with an appearance ticket for Windham Town Court.
